How to move forward?

By PaulPetyt on July 30, 2020

Everyone at some point of life goes through some upsetting experiences. Have you been bullied? Have you lost a friend or lover?

Some situations may leave us vulnerable with an empty feeling inside your chest. Today we are going to discuss those emotions.

Don’t feel guilty for having this very human experience!

I see those experiences as an opportunity, I believe that those moments give us an opportunity to reshape our lives and adjusts what needs to be adjusted.

Change your perception, take all the emotions you are feeling and use them in better way! Don’t spend your energy dwelling, use it to do wonderful things!

Change your attitude by changing your environment. This is a popular personal development technique for a good reason, and it can take all sorts of different forms.

If you’ve been indoors a lot, step out of your house and spend the whole day outside. Challenge yourself to do different!

Block out negative thoughts and take ownership. Your life is under your full control! In deep down you know what’s the best for you, just do it!

Let go of the past, are you looking at your future through filters of fear and failures from your past experiences? Past is a wonderful place to learn from, however it’s just that « the past ». Nothing else, nothing can be changed and nothing can be repaired.

Help others move forward in their lives! While helping another person, you create a strong connection that’s beneficial for both of you. What you give, you’ll receive. When you provide support and inspiration, you will get the same in return!

Practice gratitude! There are plenty of exercises to help you. You can keep a gratitude journal or just start by writing every evening all the good things that happened to you throughout the day and you are thankful for.

Let me know in the comment section how did you get through your hard experiences or how are you dealing right now if your recovery is now.
