Words of wisdom for 2021

By PaulPetyt on January 1, 2021

Reflection instead of Resolution.

Here we are, another page closes and we will open a new book, its pages are blank. Are you ready to fill it with your story?

End of year is a perfect opportunity to slow down and reflect on yourself. After this incredible time of giving and receiving kindness around us, we need to focus on ourselves before starting the New Year.

First, think about the year ending.

Think about all the experiences from this year… Did you have a successful year? What made you happy? Maybe you’ve met someone interesting or opposite, you’ve lost a friend?

What lessons life taught you this year?

There are valuable lessons to be learned from. And those who choose to ask the right questions about their past are most prepared to live life to the fullest in the present.

Those lessons can show you valuable information:

– Strengths that defines you

– Weaknesses that frustrate you

– Causes that energize you

– Relationships that inspire you

– Addictions that control us

And many, many more. It’s up to you to write them down and analyze! Take this information and use it to your advantage.

Did you discover a weakness? Try to work on it!

Did you discovered that you feel good with someone? Spend more time with them!

Again, Reflection instead of Resolution.

Now that we have our base being the past, we can start planning the upcoming year. Take time to think about how you would like to be in 2021. Visualize all your goals and write down an action plan.

“A goal without a plan is just a wish” – Antoine De Saint-Exupery

To set goals that will really make an IMPACT on your life, you must first prioritize what you want to achieve. If you put more energy on one, instead of dispersing your energy on everything at once, you are more likely to achieve more things!

You can make a calendar with key milestones to check in on your progress. If you’re not meeting your goals at these checkpoints, it’s an indication that you need to ask yourself why and what you need to change. Your goals shouldn’t be rigid, and you should expect to adjust throughout the year, that’s normal.

I would like to wish you all the best for 2021, lots of happiness and successes which I invite you to share with us on community.thegruber.club

Now, all you have to do is just to follow your plan. Good Luck! 
